Udayananu Tharam sequel coming up soon

The sequel to Mohanlal-Sreenivasan starrer film Udayananu Tharam has begun at Vaikkom near Kochi. Udayananu Tharam was one of the best and finest films to be made in the Malluwood.

The film will be sarcastically titled Padmashree Bharath Dr Sarojkumar. Sreenivasan, who wrote the original script will pen the script for this film as well. The actor will also play the title role in the film. Mamta Mohandas will essay the female lead role in Padmashree Bharath Dr Sarojkumar.

Speaking about the film, debutant director Sajin Raghavan refused to call it a sequel. He said, “We have just taken some of the characters from Udayananu Tharam in new situations like Jagathy Sreekumar's Pachalam Bhasi, Salim Kumar's Rafeeq, and Mukesh's Babykkuttan."

Though Mohanlal"s character of Udayabhanu will not be there in the film, it will be mentioned in the film.

Hopefully Padmashree Bharath Dr Sarojkumar will be as big a hit as was Udayananu Tharam.
