The music of the movie is exceptional and it is said to have doubled the expectation among the movie buffs.

The movie Urumi has eight songs, which have been written by Kaithapram, Rafeeq Ahammed, Engandiyoor Chandrasekaran. Deepak Dev has composed music for the songs and Job Kurian, Rita, Yesudas, Swetha, Reshmi Sathish, Manjari, Prithviraj, KR Renji, Reshmi Sathish, Mili, Gurukiran and Shaan Rehman have rendered their voice for them.

However, Prithviraj's Urumi, which has simultaneously made in Malayalam, Tamil and English, is slated to release on March 31.
