Jagathy Sreekumar to be shifted to CMC on Tuesday

Veteran Malayalam actor Jagathy Sreekumar is likely to be shifted to Christian Medical College (CMC) hospital, Vellore on April 10. Jagathy, who was admitted to Malabar Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital, Calicut after he met with an accident at nearby Tenhipalam on March 10, is reported to be recuperating fast.

As per PTI, Jagathy Sreekumar was to be shifted to CMC earlier last week. However, the shifting was postponed as the actor developed fever and was put on ventilator support.

The ventilator support given to the actor has apparently been removed completely and the overall condition of the actor is better. The decision to shift the actor to CMC Vellore was taken following the visit of a three-member team of doctors from Vellore, who had assessed Sreekumar's health condition on March 29.

Jagathy was seriously injured, when his car hit the road divider at nearby Tenhippalam in Malappuram district on March 10. Sreekumar was operated upon for his abdomen injuries and three surgeries on his right hand forearm, right thigh and hip, subsequently.
