Kalabhavan Mani's mom passes away

Chalakudy: Kalabhavan Mani's mother Ammini passed away on Friday at Chalakudy, where they have their ancestral home. She was 80. Her body was cremated at the premises of the house on Friday.

Ammini, mother of talented Malayalam actor Kalabhavan Mani was bed ridden since the past few months due to old age ailments. She is wife of the late Raman of Chenathunadu Kuniserrri house.

Kalabhavan Mani, who is otherwise popular for celebrating every festival with great pomp and show deliberately kept himself away from Onam celebration. Kalabhavan Mani's other siblings include: Leela, Santha, Saradha, Thankamani, RLV Rama Krishnan (noted dancer) and the late Velayudan.

Noted actors and filmmakers of the Malayalam film industry visited Mani's house to offer their condolences.
