MK Arjunan bags Devarajan Puraskar

Veteran music director MK Arjunan has bagged this year's G Devarajan Sakthi Gatha puraskar, instituted by Devarajan Foundation. ONV Kurup will present the award on March 14th in a function at VJT Hall in Thiruvananthapuram.

Minister MK Muneer will inaugurate the function. Dr J Hareedran Nair, who received Padmasree will be honoured in the function. Additional Chief Secretary K Jaya Kumar, Sreekumaran Thampi, CV Padmarajan and Poovachal Khader will deliver the speech. The function will be concluded with a music nite that includes the songs of Devarajan Master. Foundation president Perumbuzha Gopala Krishnan announced the award at a press meet.
