Thrissur: Manju Warrier returned to the dance stage after a gap of fourteen years. Manju recently performed on stage at Guruvayoor as part of Navratri dance festival, amidst great fanfare.
The auditorium was jam packed and people thronged in hundreds to watch Manju Warrier perform Kuchipudi on stage. Many TV channels even aired this performance live.
Manu Warrier left movies and even bid goodbye to dance after her marriage to Dileep 14 years ago. However, the actress is back with a bang! Though Dileep was not present to witness Manju's dance performance, her family members and directors Sathyan Anthikkad and Ranjith graced the occasion.
After the brilliant performance, when Manju was asked to clarify the rumours regarding her returning to movies, Manju replied in negative and expressed her desire in continuing with her dancing sessions.
