Meera Jasmine is back with Samuelinte Makkal

Meera Jasmine, who has been away from the big screen for a long time might make a comeback with Babu Janardhanan's film Samuelinte Makkal, a sequel to Lal Jose film, Achanurangatha Veedu.

Screenplay of the film is penned by director Babu Janardhanan himself. Meera is essaying the role played by Muktha in the original film. Meera plays the role of an employee at a small time DTP and phone booth shop. She goes through different stages of life as a house wife, widow and of a mother. The story progresses through a natural sequence of events.

Salim Kumar dons the role of father with three daughters as in the first part. While Meera will assess the role of the elder daughter, Samvrutha Sunil and Suja Karthika will play the role of the other two daughters. Unni Mukundan will handle the role of a CITU worker in the film.
