Johnson's son Ren Johnson dies in a road accident

23-year-old Ren Johnson, son of late music director Johnson died in a road accident. The mishap happened near Madhya Kailash in Chennai on Saturday (Feb 25) night.

Ren Johnson, who worked as an engineer with an IT company at Perungudi in Chennai, died after his bike hit a woman pedestrian and ran over the median. Though Ren was immediately admitted to Royapettah, a government hospital, he succumbed to the head injury. The woman pedestrian, who is yet to be identified is also in the hospital and is in a serious condition.

It is yet another blow for his mother Rani, who lost her husband Johnson last year. Ren has a sister named Shan.
