Amala Paul set to romance Fahad Fazil

Thiruvananthapuram: Actress Amala Paul started her filmy journey from the Malayalam movie Neelathamara in 2009 and she has starred in 19 movies in four years. Interestingly, she has acted in just four Mollywood films and the rest are Tamil and Telugu films. Now, this Mallu beauty, who has starred with biggies like Ram Charan, Allu Arjun and Vijay, is returning to Mollywood with Sathyan Anthikad's next film. She will romance Fahad Fazil in this much-hyped movie.

Sathyan Anthikad's untitled project is romantic entertainer, which is about relationships. The story of the film revolves around a young man who has lot of people around him and how he is influenced by a lonely-young girl. Set in a city backdrop, the movie talks about the present day youth. Iqbal Kuttipurum has written the script for this yet-to-be-titled movie.

Talking to TOI, Sathyan Anthikad said, "Amala is almost confirmed for the project and we are working on the dates now." The director added, "Fahad and Amala are teaming up for the first time. Amala has a natural urban look and I especially liked her performance in the Tamil film, Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi."

Amala Paul was last seen in the movie Run Babby Run opposite Mohanlal. Currently, the actress is busy with shooting for big ticket movies like Thalaivaa, Nimirndhu Nil and Janda Pai Kapiraju. After completing them, she will take up the filming for Sathyan's upcoming movie, which is expected to start rolling in September.
