Ashiq Abu Clarifies On Idukki Gold Poster

Idukki Gold is the upcoming movie directed by Ashiq Abu. One of the poster of the movie irked some of the people and had created chaos. The movie poster has Lord Shiva and Che Guevara smoking. Lots of oppositions came for the poster which even claimed that the movie will not be released with that poster. Now the director himself have come forward to clarify the issue.

Ashiq Abu has made the clarification on his official FB page. He has written it in Malayalam saying that all the Idukki Gold posters have been designed by the Pappaya Media and only those posters are being published on his site. Those are the official posters of the movie. Other than that all those posters trending on the social sites are not the official ones, claims the director.

The poster which has been dragged in the controversy is not an official poster, says Ashiq Abu. He says that the name of the maker of that poster has been printed on it. But people do not bother to see that, instead they try to blame the director who is not invloved in it. He also says that he has not tried to insult any God or religion and do not wish to do the same. He has due respect for all the Gods and religions.

Ashiq Abu says that he did not respond to the issue earlier but seeing that even some of his friends have misunderstood him, he decided to speak up. He clarifies that the controversial poster makers have not said that it is the official poster. Now, Idukki Gold is getting released on October 11 and hopes that all thses issues will not diversely affect the movie and its release.
