Asif Ali plans a road trip for honeymoon

After their marriage, most of the film stars plan a big honeymoon trip to some beautiful foreign location. They travel by plane and stay in beautiful hotels during this period. But here is an actor, who got married on Sunday and has planned to go on a road trip to North India in his own vehicle. He is none other than Malayalam actor Asif Ali, who has his own different dreams about the honeymoon tour.

The most eligible bachelor in Mollywood, Asif Ali tied the knot with Zama Masreen at a grand traditional Muslim ceremony held at the Dinesh Auditorium in Kannur on Sunday, May 26. Unlike other young actors, it was an arranged marriage for Asif, who says that he fell in love with Zama only after the engagement. His wedding was attended by a few close friends and family members and he has planned to host a reception party for his colleagues in the Malayalam film industry.

Asif Ali is currently busy with the shooting of D Company, Honey Bee and Koothara. Hence, the actor is yet to decide on the date for his honeymoon. Talking to Deccan Chronicle, Asif Ali said, "We have plans to go to North India. Wherever we go, it will have to be a road trip, in our vehicle. I am not interested in taking a flight or a cruise." Zama Masreen is the daughter of Azad and Mumtaz and is doing her BBA course in a college at Kozhikode. Her proposal came to Asif Ali through one of his family friends. Neither she belongs to a very rich family nor she has any relative in film industry. Though they are professionally opposites, the actor says that they have very good mutual understanding. "I think I have got a girl who will be a dream life partner. She treats me and my family well," Deccan Chronicle quotes him as saying.
