Camel Safari Is All Set To Release This Week

Camel Safari, the upcoming movie which narrates a love story on the backdrop of Rajasthan, is all set to get released this Thursday, 26 September. The movie features Arun Shankar and Pankaja Menon in the lead roles. Sekhar Menon, Tini Tom, Sabitha Jayaraj, Binu Adimaly, Neha Ramesh, Hashim Hussain, Vishnu Mohan and Anjali Ajayan are seen in supporting roles.

Dia (Pankaja Menon) is a management student in Mangalore. She and four of her friends (Catherine, Hashim, Yamini and Chinna Gounder) visit Rajasthan for 15 days to attend a marriage. There she meets a Rajput boy Pavan (Arun Shankar) and falls in love with him. What happens to her later in that unknown land, forms the rest of the film.

Camel Safari is directed by Jayaraj. Kamal Gaur, who played the villain in the earlier film Johnnie Walker, is making a comeback with this film. He plays a villain in this movie too. The movie is shot exclusively in Pushkar, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and other picturesque locales of Rajasthan. Pushkar Mela, one of the biggest fair in India, will get a special narration in Camel Safari.

Thomas Thoppilkkudi is the scriptwriter. Lyrics are penned by Kaithapram and are tuned by his son Deepankuran. There are five songs in the film. The film is produced by Jayaraj and Rejimon Kappaparambil under the banner of New Generation Cinema.
