Innocent,
who
was
suffering
from
cancer
and
was
undergoing
treatment
for
the
last
11
months,
will
be
facing
the
camera
again.
He
will
be
joining
the
shoots
of
Priyadarshan's
forthcoming
movie
Geetanjali
tomorrow
(July
24).
The
actor
says
that
he
was
approached
by
Priyadarshan
and
Sathyan
Anthikkad
to
act
in
Geetanjali.
As
he
has
recovered
from
his
illness,
Innocent
agreed
and
signed
to
star
in
the
upcoming
Malayalam
film.
He
hopes
that
he
will
be
able
to
do
full
justice
to
his
role
in
the
flick.
He
thinks
working
with
his
fellow-mates
will
help
him
to
perform
well.
Innocent
is
very
happy
to
make
a
comeback
in
a
movie,
which
stars
a
superstar
and
that
too
in
a
much-hyped
movie
like
Geetanjali.
"Mohanlal
is
a
good
friend
of
mine.
I
am
happy
that
I
will
be
getting
some
time
to
spend
with
him.
I
am
not
aware
of
my
role
in
Geetanjali,
but
Priyadarshan
has
told
me
that
I
will
be
playing
the
role
of
a
step-father
in
the
film",
said
the
actor
in
an
interview
for
an
online
portal.
He
gives
the
credit
of
his
comeback
to
his
doctor
Gangadharan.
Many
people
came
to
visit
him
when
he
was
under
treatment.
It
is
their
love
and
their
wishes
that
have
helped
him
to
recovery
from
the
illness
in
a
short
period.
It
was
last
year
when
the
versatile
actor
was
diagnosed
with
the
disease
and
the
news
had
shocked
his
fans
as
well
as
the
industry.
He
was
treated
at
a
private
hospital
in
Kochi
by
Dr
Gangadharan.
