Dileep's debut in Telugu as Sathya Sai Baba

Dileep is famous for his selection of character and also for the varieties of roles he has portrayed. The 'Radha' in Chanthupottu and the title role in Mayamohini are the best examples for it. Now he is all ready to set his foot in Tollywood as 'Sathya Sai Baba' in the movie titled Baba Sathya Sai.

The movie is directed by Kodi Rama Krishna. Portraying the role is quite challenging for him, but still the director has showed the confidence in Dileep. According to sources, Dileep is getting a remuneration of Rs 7 crores for doing this character. This itself shows the significance of the character.

Dileep will be playing the godman Baba's years from the age of 25 to 85. The actor says that the shooting schedule of the film is going to be the longest one in his career. The locations of the movie will be right from Kanyakumari to Kashmir including Puttaparthi and Himalayas.

Earlier, it was said that Mohanlal will play the lead role in the movie. Talking about Baba Sathya Sai, Dileep says that he is very happy to make his debut in Tollywood and that too with the role of Sathya Sai Baba. The actor adds that he has done several different roles, but this is going to be a totally different experience for him. Actress Jayaprada dons the role of his mother in Baba Sathya Sai, which will simultaneously be made in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The shoot will begin in September. Dileep says working in different film industries is not an easy job, but he has planned to take the help of his friends like director Lal Jose. Sound Thoma was his last Malayalam flick opposite Namitha and it was a superhit.
