Dileep's Sringara Velan Releasing Date Confirmed

Keralites are all set ready to celebrate Onam this month. There are mainly five big releases awaiting to entertain the audience in this season, one among them is Dileep's Sringara Velan. The director has confirmed the releasing date of the film to be September 14.

Sringara Velan is said to be a comedy entertainer. Directed by Jose Thomas, the movie has Dileep and popular Kollywood actress Vedhika in the lead roles. Dileep plays the role of a weaver in this film. He is once again seen as a singer in this movie with the song 'Ashakoshale pennundo...' along with Afsal, which is the major highlight of the film. Vedhika is making her debut in the industry with this movie. The movie has a love story which revolves around a wedding saree, which is told in a humourous way.

Kannan (Dileep), the son of the weaver Ayyapan Ashan (Nedumudi Venu), in spite of the struggle the family is facing, is sent to study fashion designing. But Kannan opt for some easy ways of making money and indulge himself into other activities. This finally leads him to many problems as all his ideas and plans become a failure. Ayyapan and Kannan's ideas always proved mismatch, complicating the situation. Thus, a kind of uneasiness always prevails in the family. In his ways of easy money making, he happens to meet Yeshu (Lal). Yeshu landed in Kannan's village to murder Avarachen, the landlord. Yeshu and Kannan become very good friends. The intriguing scenes form the rest of the story.

Nedumudi Venu, Sreedevi Unni, Joy Mathew, Kalabhavan Shajon, Baburaj, Babu Namboothiri, Chembil Ashokan and others are also seen in this film. Jaison Elamkulam is producing Sringara Velan under the banner of RJ Creations.
