Dileep Turns Singer In Sringara Velan

After Thilakkam and Sound Thoma, Dileep has once again turned a singer for his upcoming film Sringara Velan, which is set for an Onam release. He has sung 'Ashakoshale pennundo...' along with Afsal in this movie.

Sringara Velan is directed by Jose Thomas. Vedhika, popular heroine in Kollywood, is making her debut in the industry with this movie. The film revolves around a wedding saree, which is said in a humourous way. It is a love story.

Kannan (Dileep), the son of the weaver Ayyapan Ashan (Nedumudi Venu), in spite of the struggle the family is facing, is sent to study fashion designing. But Kannan opt for some easy ways of making money and indulge himself into other activities. This finally leads him to many problems as all his ideas and plans becomes a failure. Ayyapan and Kannan's ideas always proved mismatch, complicating the situation. Thus, a kind of uneasiness always prevails in the family.

In his ways of easy money making he happens to meet Yeshu (Lal). Yeshu landed in Kannan's village to murder Avarachen, the landlord. Yeshu and Kannan become very good friends. The intriguing scenes forms the rest of the story and is told in a very humourous manner.

Jaison Elamkulam is producing Sringara Velan under the banner of RJ Creations. Other cast includes Joy Mathew, Kalabhavan Shajon, Baburaj, Babu Namboothiri, Chembil Ashokan and others. Manjunatha Release is releasing Srinagara Velan for Onam.
