Edavela Babu Is Having Rapacity, Says Maniyanpilla Raju

Maniyanpilla Raju makes a hard-hitting comment against Edavela Babu. He says that Edavela Babu is having Rapacity. Maniyanpilla was attending the press conference arranged by his movie crew Namboothiri Yuvavu @ 43, when he made this statement.

He commented that the theater owners are not giving chances to the new producers as well as the new cine artists. Even the government theaters are not willing to show the new comer's cinema. All privileges and permissions are granted only to the main lead actors and actresses, who have already made their foot set in the industry. This will not help the industry to grow, says Maniyanpilla Raju.

Adding on, he also said that KSFDC is showing partiality to the new movies, which are ready to release. He said that he was not granted the permission to release his movie Namboothiri Yuvavu @ 43 at the Kairali theatre in Thiruvananthapuram, which is a government owned theater. It is to be remembered that he is the director of KSFDC.

Maniyanpilla Raju lashed out during the meet saying that the theaters are competing with each other to release all Tamil movies. He calculated 150 movies including other languages to be released in Kerala by the end of December. He said that the number of movie releases in Kerala will drastically come down as the income will be low due to all these reasons. He concluded saying that the ban of right to audio release and also the less money flow from foreign countries have also affected the industry.
