Fahad Fazil to star in Shaheed Arafat's Cartoon

Thiruvananthapuram: Malayalam actor Fahad Fazil has been flooded with several new offers after the success of his previous movies like 22 Female Kottayam and Annayum Rasoolum. Of them, he has made careful selection and picked up a few projects. Recently, he has reportedly signed another new movie titled Cartoon, which is directed by Shaheed Arafat.

According to reports, Shaheed's Cartoon is about two egoists' conflicts and their consequences. These fellows come from entirely different social background and have two opposite characters. What happens when they meet in a stipulated circumstance will forms the plot of this Malayalam movie.

Lazer Shine and Ratheesh Ravi have written the script for the film Cartoon, which also focuses on the elaborate life of Kochi. The movie will have a unique theme, which concentrates on 'moral policing'. The film is developed through two characters, one is of Sachidanandan, a cartoonist, and Alvin, an ambulance driver. One of them has positive shade, while other appears with grey shades.

Haneef Mohammed, who has earlier produced Mohanlal's Karmayodha and Mamootty's Bombay March 12, will invest money on the movie Cartoon under the banner of Red Rose Creations. Traffic fame Shyju Khalid will crank the camera, while Prasanth Pillai scores music for the film. Fahad Fazil is currently busy with the shooting of Olipporali and North 24 Kaatham and he is expected to take this film on floors in December.
