Mollywood
has
witnessed
the
trend
where
one
movie
is
been
directed
by
many
directors.
The
movie
Manichitrathazhu
was
directed
by
Fazil,
Priyadarshan,
Siddique-Lal
and
Sibi
Malayil
together.
Moreover
the
movie
Kerala
Cafe
was
an
anthology
of
ten
different
stories
directed
by
ten
different
directors.
Similarly,
Taxi
is
yet
another
upcoming
movie
which
is
to
be
directed
by
three
directors
under
the
script
of
another
director.
Mammootty
will
be
playing
the
main
lead
in
this
film.
Shyamaprasad,
VK
Prakash
and
Kamal
are
the
three
directors,
who
are
all
set
to
direct
the
movie
Taxi
together.
Anjali
Menon,
who
rose
to
fame
with
her
movie
Manjadikkuru
and
who
was
also
the
scriptwriter
for
the
movie
Usthad
Hotel,
is
doing
the
script
work
for
Taxi.
D
Company,
which
was
released
last
week,
was
also
an
anthology
of
three
features,
directed
by
three
directors.
But
the
movie
failed
to
impress
its
audience.
Taxi
was
earlier
reported
to
be
a
venture
by
Shyamaprasad
alone.
Mammootty
was
to
play
the
hero
in
that
too.
The
rest
of
the
cast
and
crew
of
Taxi
is
yet
to
be
finalised.
It
is
a
great
opportunity
for
the
actor
as
well
as
the
directors
to
show
off
their
calibre
as
professionals.
Taxi
is
expected
to
go
on
floors
by
the
end
of
this
year
if
the
actor
has
no
issues
with
his
dates.
Otherwise
the
movie
will
start
rolling
only
by
next
year.
