Galaxy Films Confirms Mammootty's 'Praise The Lord'

Praise The Lord is the upcoming movie of Mammootty. His Immanuel movie co-star Reenu Mathews will be seen pairing up with the star once again in this movie. The film is directed by Shibu Gangadharan. The movie has been rumoured to see the star essaying the role of a farmer.

Joy (Mammootty) is an immensely rich Pala based farmer. He is hardly aware of the life beyond his small town in Pala as he didn't get much chance to explore the outside world. But a boy and girl, who are in love, change Joy's outlook on life. This forms the plot of the story.

Praise the Lord is a pure adaptation of Zacharia's novel, which also has the same title. It brings out the humorous elements and the innocence expressed by the villagers. Mukesh, who did a cameo role in Immanuel with Mammootty, will be seen in a prominent role in this movie. TP Devarajan has penned the script for this film. Milan Jaleel is producing the film under the banner of Galaxy Films. The movie will be shot in Kottayam and Delhi, and is expected to start rolling from November 1.

Mammootty is currently busy with the shooting of his movies Judgement and Balyakalasakhi. Hindi televison fame Pallavi Chandra and Isha Talwar play his heroines in these two films, respectively.
