Geethanjali Or Thira: Who Will Win The Battle?

Today Mollywood will see two big releases - Geethanjali and Thira. Both are very much hyped movies owing to its cast as well as crew. All were awaiting for the release of Geethanjali ever since the movie had been announced. And, Thira marks the comeback of Shobana in the industry.

Geethanjali is the movie directed by Priyadarshan. Mohanlal plays the key role in this film and is seen as Dr Sunny, the role played by him in his earlier movie Manichitrathazhu. Thira is the first thriller movie directed by Vineeth Sreenivsan. His last two movies - Malarvadi Arts Club as well as Thattathin Marayathu did well at the Box Office.

At this point of time, we need to remember that Priyadarshan-Mohanlal have worked wonders in movies as a pair. Most of their movies are even remembered now owing to its unique theme and storyline. When we see that Mohanlal and Shobana are coming back facing each other for two different movies, we also have to be aware that Keerthi Menaka, daughter of Menaka Suresh, is making her debut with Geethanjali, while Dhyan Sreenivasan, brother of Vineeth, is making his debut with Thira.

Some are disappointed with Geethanjali, while some really enjoyed it. While Thira is getting good response on Twitter, Geethanjali has been getting mixed response. Now, who will win this battle of success - Geethanjali or Thira? We have to wait and see.
