Gopi Sunder singing song for Shahrukh's Chennai Express

Thiruvananthapuram: Gopi Sunder, who turned a music composer with Notebook in 2006, has been making waves in Mollywood and Kollywood ever since he debuted in films. Now, the musician is all set to rock the Hindi music lovers. Yes! You guessed it right. He is foraying into Bollywood soon and that too with none other than King Khan - Shahrukh's next much-hyped movie Chennai Express. He will croon a song for the film.

Talking to a leading English daily, Gopi Sunder himself has confirmed the news. The young musician says that he has a very good relationship with Vishal-Shekhar, who are the composers of Chennai Express and has also done programming for their Om Shanti Om. Recently, he was in Mumbai to do the programming for the film Chennai Express, when he got an offer to sing a song for Shahrukh Khan.

While chatting with the duo, Shekhar, who thought that his voice would match Shahrukh's, asked Gopi Sunder whether he could sing a song for the actor. The Malayalam musician sang a duet with Chinmayi and it was liked and approved by the duo and the superstar. Gopi says, "Shahrukh heard the song and said that he liked it too and that the match was good. I feel very happy to be his voice."
