Jayaram's Ginger, Another Road Movie

After the success of Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi, it seems that the directors of Malayalam industry are after road movies. North 24 Kaatham, Ginger and many other movies are coming up its way - all of which are based on travelogue. Shaji Kailas' movie Ginger, which is getting released on September 6 is also said to be a road movie.

Jayaram, Mallika, Mukta and Sudheesh play the lead roles in Ginger. The movie is said to revolve around the happenings that occur during a journey. Vivekanandan and Najeeb Kecheri are best friends. Both are thieves by profession. Once they plan to rob Harinarayanan and his wife Devika's house. Apparently, Harinarayanan and his wife become a part of their lives.

One day Edamuttom Pappachen, owner of a private money lending firm Edamuttom Financiers, approaches Vivekanandan and Najeeb with a special purpose. The intriguing scenes that follow forms the rest of the story which is presented in a very humourous manner.

Suresh Krishna, Jagadeesh, Suraj Venjaranmoodu, Kalasala Babu, Kailesh, Indrans, Sidharth Siva, Kaviyoor Ponamma, Honey, Tesni Kahan, Jolly Esho, and Manga Mahesh are seen in supporting roles. Jagadeesh Chandran is producing this movie under the banner of Kichu Films. Shibu Chakravarthy and Bichu Thirumala have penned the lyrics and SP Venketesh has scored the music for Ginger.
