Jayaram, Suresh Gopi In Joshiy's Next

After a long break in the industry, Suresh Gopi is making a comeback. He will be seen along with Jayaram in the Joshiy directed movie titled Salaam Kashmir. Jayaram and Suresh Gopi were last seen together in Twenty Twenty (2008). The film, which has an intriguing storyline, revolves around two men - Sreekumar and Tomy.

Sreekumar (Jayaram) is a family man and helps his wife in all the household works. He likes to be called a perfect homemaker. He sit at home looking after his kid, while his wife goes out for work. Everything was going well with him.

Suddenly, there enters Tomy Eppan Devassy (Suresh Gopi), into their lives. Tomy's presence brings lots of toils into the life of Sreekumar and he reaches to such a situation where he can no longer stay with his family. The film unveils the mysterious past of both the characters finding the cause behind their unusual behaviour.

Salaam Kashmir has its script penned by Sethu. According to him, the movie is more likely a family drama and has heavy-duty action, humour in an equal reel space. A major portion of the film has been shot in the picturesque locales of Kashmir, which is one of the favourite location of the director Joshiy. All the critical incidents in the film is likely to happen in Kashmir only.

Another highlight of the film is that, Jayaram has sung the duet 'Kanaadi puzhayille...' with Shweta Mohan in Salaam Kashmir. M Jayachandran has composed the music for the film.

Other cast in the film includes Mia, Lalu Alex, Ponnamma Babu, Vijayaraghavan, etc. Mia plays Jayaram's wife in the film. Lalu Alex is also seen in a pivotal role. The film is produced by Maha Subair under the banner of Varnachithra Release.
