Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty Gets Satellite Record!

Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty starring Mammootty bags a whooping satellite record of Rs 5.75 crores. Directed by Ranjith, the movie's satellite rights was brought by a popular channel. Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty has broken the record of Mammooty, Dileep and Dhanush starrer movie Kammath And Kammath, which had bagged the satellite for Rs 4.9 crores.

Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty is a much expected movie of Mammootty and Ranjith. Their last flick Pranchiyettan And The Saint won great applause and was a hit at the Box-Office. The movie has the Dubai based Alisha playing the female lead.

Another highlight of Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty is that the movie will have Mohanlal and Dileep, in cameo roles. Mammootty plays the role of an NRI, who marries a nurse and moves to Germany. There he is assigned with a task by the German Malayalees and is sent to Kottayam. On reaching Kerala, Mathukutty gets trapped in another problem. The means by which Mathukutty tries to solve the assigned duties form the rest of the story.

Muthumani, Meera Nandan, Nedumudi Venu, Siddique, Balachandra Menon, Haishree Asokan, Prem Prakash, Suresh Krishna, P Balachandran and some German Malayalees are the other cast seen in supporting roles. The movie is produced by Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan and Shaji Natesan, under the banner of August Cinema. The movie is getting released on August 9.
