Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty Release Preponed

Mollywood is filled with movie releases this month. Ramzan will witness the release of three major movies Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty (KKOM), Memories and Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi. KKOM was earlier slated for an Aug 9 release, but now the movie gets advanced to Aug 7.

It has been said that Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty release has been advanced in favour of Mammootty's son Dulquar Salman. His movie Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi is getting released on August 9. Thus, there won't be clash between the father and son films!

Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty, directed by Ranjith, will see Mammootty playing the role of an NRI husband. He is married to a nurse, who works in Germany. He gets assigned with a special task by the German Malayali's and comes to Kottayam. But there he indulges in some other problems too. The ways by which he sort out the problems forms the rest of the story.

Other cast in the movie includes Alisha, Muthumani, Siddique, Shekher Menon, Meera Nandan, Nedumudi Venu, Balachandra Menon, Harishree Ashokan, Suresh Krishna, P Balachandran, Balachandran Chullikad, Kaviyoor Ponnamma and Prem Prakash. Mohanlal and Dileep are said to be seen in cameo roles in the film.

Madhu Neelakandan is the cinematographer. Kadal Kadannu Oru Maathukutty is produced by Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan and Shaji Natesan under the banner of August Cinema.
