Pvt.
Ltd,
has
recently
launched
Krian
Media
Ltd.
as
an
extension
to
servicing
of
cinemas
in
the
digital
space
globally.
Krian
Media
which
also
has
a
film
distribution
arm
aims
at
not
only
catering
to
domestic
markets
but
to
markets
which
are
underexposed
to
Indian
cinema,
such
as
USA,
Latin
America
and
some
European
countries,
with
the
ultimate
vision
of
becoming
a
single
window
for
release
of
Indian
movies
worldwide.
Krian
Media
kicked
off
by
distributing
a
Hollywood
release,
GI
Joe:
Retaliation
across
India
this
year.
Following
their
vision,
Krian
Media
has
acquired
US
theatrical
distribution
rights
for
two
Malayalam
films.
Neelakasham
Pachakadal

Raj

&
Distribution,
Krian
Media
highlighted
"Understanding
the
popularity
and
demand
of
regional
cinema
across
the
globe
we
aim
to
deliver
the
best
entertainment
to
our
audiences
on
a
global
platform.
Through
our
foray
into
distribution
of
films,
we
are
servicing
cinema
in
one
or
more
way
and
adding
to
its
reach.
Apart
from
domestic
distribution,
our
international
reach
is
established
in
major
markets
such
as
of
North
America
as
of
now."
The
Indian
film
industry
is
highly
regionalised
with
the
largest
language
groups
supporting
major
regional
industries.
In
fact
regional
(especially
southern)
films
bite
a
huge
chunk
of
the
overall
Indian
film
market
as
they
have
evolved
by
leaps
and
bounds
and
have
been
witnessing
new
trends
over
time.
Although,
Bollywood
being
the
biggest
film
industry
in
India,
the
southern
film
industry
is
contributing
substantially
to
the
market.
The
US
market
is
concerned
as
it
has
been
a
fast-growing
and
affluent
population
of
Indian
Americans:
with
2.5
million
people.
Many
distributors
of
Bollywood
and
regional
Indian
films
are
growingly
eager
to
broaden
their
global
appeal.
