Krish
J
Sathar,
son
of
actress
Jayabharathi
made
his
acting
debut
with
Siddique's
Ladies
and
Gentleman,
which
featured
him
alongside
superstar
Mohanlal.
This
budding
actor
has
now
signed
his
second
project,
which
has
been
titled
Kalkki.
Directed
by
Subil
Surendran,
the
bilingual
film,
which
is
simultaneously
made
in
Malayalam
and
Tamil,
features
Krish
in
the
title
role.
Talking
to
an
English
newspaper,
Subil
Surendran
confirmed
casting
Krish
J
Sathar
for
the
lead
role
in
the
movie
Kalkki
much
before
Ladies
and
Gentleman
released.
The
director
says
that
the
hero
in
Kalkki
has
different
shades.
He
was
looking
for
a
talented
actor
when
he
saw
Krish's
photos.
He
approached
the
young
actor,
who
has
a
Broadway
connect,
and
narrated
the
story.
Both
got
in
sync.
The
title
of
the
movie,
Kalkki,
suggests
that
the
film
is
based
on
a
mythological
story.
When
asked
about
it,
Subil
Surendran
says
that
there
is
no
mythological
connect
to
the
story,
but
he
declines
to
reveal
the
story
of
the
flick.
He
only
maintains
the
protagonist
has
many
shades.
Meanwhile,
Krish
J
Sathar
has
also
confirmed
that
he
has
been
signed
for
Subil
Surendran's
Kalkki.
The
budding
actor
says
that
he
was
very
much
impressed
with
the
way
Subil
moulded
the
protagonist
Kalkki.
He
will
have
different
looks
in
the
film.
He
adds
that
he
would
like
to
experiment
and
do
a
lot
of
offbeat
stuff.
