Mammootty Chooses Dulquar's Ladylove

Mammootty and his son Dulquar were in news recently for their movie releases. Unfortunately, father could not make a pace with his son as Dulquar's Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi has overthrown Mammootty's Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty. Latest buzz is that Mammootty had selected Dulquar's ladylove for his upcoming movie.

Mammootty chose Malavika Mohan as Dulquar's new heroine for his upcoming movie Pattam Pole. She is the daughter of cinematographer Mohan. The movie is directed by cinematographer Azhagappan. This is his debut venture as a director.

When asked about her entry into films, Malavika said that her father was the cinematographer for the Indulekha Ad, where Mammootty was playing the lead. Mammootty met Malavika on the sets of the Ad shoot. She and her mother visited the shooting sets regularly. Malavika happened to see that Mammootty was noticing her and was frightened.

Mammootty asked her if she would like to act in movies, but she denied it. Then he said that it is for his son and not for him. Later, Mammootty spoke to her father and then she was fixed as the heroine for Pattam Pole.

The shooting of the movie has started and Malavika says she is very much comfortable on the sets. Though she is making her debut opposite Dulquar, Fahad Fazil is her all time favourite and all the rest means secondary for her when it comes to acting!
