Mammootty Slams His Entry Into Politics

Almost all the stars from all the industry have already made their foot set on politics. Actors like Dimple Kapadia, Jaya Bachchan, Shatrughnan Sinha, Govinda and others are examples who made their entry into politics from Bollywood. As far as the South is considered, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha was an yesteryear actress. The latest entry was marked by the Kannada actress Ramya (Divya Spandhana). Recently there were rumours in air which stated that Mammootty was about to make his entry into politics. But now the actor himself has slammed the reports.

The rumours stated that Mammootty was about to contest in election as a CPI candidatefor the next Lok Sabha elections. But the actor said that he is not at all aware of any such decisions and wrote on his Facebook page likewise - "Have seen some fake reports spreading around especially through social media about me contesting in the parliament elections. Let me clarify to all my friends that all those reports are wrong."

Mammootty is currently basking with the success of his last released movie Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus. He played the role of a theater artist in the film, who performed the role of Jesus Christ. The actor has already essayed the role of an ardent politician in the movie Nayam Vekthamakkunnu, opposite Shantikrishna. Anyways, the actor has put an end to all the rumours.
