Manju Warrier Performs At Calicut

Manju Warrier performed a dance at Calicut in a remembrance day function of the late Mullassery Raju. The actress was so graceful with her movements that all the audience were enthralled. She performed Kuchipudi on the stage, which was witnessed by a huge crowd.

Manju Warrier was performing at Calicut after many years. A huge number of fans of the actress came to witness their favourite actress' performance. She was welcomed on to the stage with a great applause. Manju started off her dance with a Ganapathi Sthuti which was based on Thilak Raga.

Later she moved on to Sreekrishnaleeletharangini, which was performed by the actress in a very beautiful manner. Manju easily portrayed Lord Krishna as Govardhana Giridhari, Sreevalsanikithan and Sreekausthubhadharan with her expressions in eyes, face and body. She showed all the naughtiness of Lord Krishna in her dance.

The remembrance day function was inaugurated by Dr MK Muneer. The main highlight of the function was the official announcement by the actress with regard to her comeback in films. She said that she will be making her comeback with the Malayalam movie Man Friday, directed by Ranjith. The director was also present on the dais. This is the first time Manju Warrier is making a public announcement for her comeback in films.
