Mohanlal Completes Geethanjali Shooting

Mohanlal is the talk of the town as recently he completed 35 years of his acting career and also got one million likes for his Facebook official page. Now the latest buzz about the actor is that he has completed his shooting of his upcoming film Geethanjali.

Geethanjali is a much awaited film owing to its cast and crew. It marks the re-union of Mohanlal and director Priyadarshan once again. The movie has a storyline which is similar to the earlier movie Manichitrathazhu. Mohanlal played the role of Dr Sunny in that film and is again seen playing the same in Geethanjali.

Keerthi Menaka, daughter of yesteryear actress Menaka Suresh and producer Suresh, is making her debut with Geethanjali. Nishan plays opposite Keerthi in this movie. Innocent, who was undergoing cancer treatment for a long time, is making a comeback to the industry with this film. The shooting was earlier put on hold as the director of the film Priyadarshan was admitted to the hospital due to fever.

Geethanjali also has Ganesh, another character from Manichitrathazhu. The movie is said to be a psychological thriller. Shobhana is seen in a cameo role in this movie. Mamta Mohandas was earlier rumoured to be a part of this film, but later the actress denied her presence in Geethanjali. The movie is expected for an October release. Meanwhile, Mohanlal is said to have joined the sets of his Tamil movie Jilla.
