At Last Mohanlal Gets A Wife!

Mohanlal was in search of a wife for his upcoming movie My Family. After a long quest, it seems that the actor has got his partner and that is none other than Simran! My Family is directed by Jeethu Joseph. Mohanlal is seen as a man who struggles for his family.

It has been rumoured that there will be two heroines in the film. The presence of the other lead is not yet confirmed. Jeethu Joseph says that the film is sure to be another family entertainer.

Simran and Mohanlal are not paring up for the first time. They were seen together in the Tamil movie Popcorn, which went flop at the Box Office. Tamil movie Vaaranam Aayiram was her last film. She played the wife to father Surya in the film.

Simran made her Malayalam debut with the movie Indraprastham opposite Mammootty. She played an enthusiastic journalist in that movie. She is more popular in Tamil films. Illayathalapathy Vijay and Simran shared a good onscreen chemistry and have so many films credited to their hit list.

Mohanlal is currently busy shooting for his Malayalam flick Geetanjali. He is not paired with any heroine in this film. He also has upcoming films in Tamil (Jilla) and Kannada (Mythri).
