Mohanlal
is
gearing
up
for
the
shooting
his
next
outing
Memory
Card,
which
is
being
directed
by
P
Anil.
It
is
going
to
be
an
out-and-out
action
thriller
and
the
film
is
set
to
hit
the
floors
soon.
The
makers
have
planned
to
release
it
during
this
Onam
festival.
If
everything
goes
well,
the
movie
will
hit
the
screens
on
September
13,
2013.
Mohanlal
has
already
rocked
the
Mallu
viewers
as
an
army
officer
in
the
movies
like
Douthyam,
Pingami
and
the
Keerthichakra
series
and
proved
that
he
is
a
perfect
face
for
such
roles
in
Mollywood.
The
superstar
will
once
again
appear
in
one
such
getup
in
Memory
Card.
He
will
play
the
role
of
an
Ex-Military
Intelligence
Officer
in
this
movie.
Gireesh,
who
has
earlier
worked
in
hit
films
like
Aniyan
Bava
Chettan
Bava
and
Meleparambil
Aanveedu,
has
written
the
story
for
Memory
Card,
which
is
set
in
Hyderabad.
It
is
said
to
be
a
racy
action
thriller
that
happens
in
a
span
of
six
days.
Certain
events
bring
together
three
people
-
Mohanlal's
character,
a
police
officer
and
another
person
in
the
city
and
the
story
moves
forward
in
the
backdrop
of
a
high-profile
investigation.
Besides
Mohanlal,
Memory
Card,
which
is
directed
by
P
Anil,
will
have
two
other
big
names
playing
prominent
roles.
The
production
team
has
finalised
the
script
and
will
start
casting
other
artistes
for
the
film.
A
source
close
to
the
production
team
claims
that
Prakash
Raj
has
been
approached
to
play
a
prominent
character
in
the
movie,
but
he
is
yet
to
give
his
consent
for
it.
