Mohanlal's Geethanjali: A Horror-Humour Combo!

Geethanjali is an upcoming movie directed by Priyadarshan. The movie is completely a combination of horror as well as humour. Mohanlal, who played the role of Dr Sunny in Manichitrathazhu, is once again coming back with the same role in Geethanjali.

Arakkal Tharavadu is a highly reputed Christian family in Central Travancore. It is a joint family which is ruled by Babychayan. Anoop and Anjali are the newly wed couple in the family. But some mysterious things happen there on and the family lands in trouble. Dr Sunny, who is in the US comes to rescue the family from all the mishappenings.

Main highlight of the film is Keerthi Menaka, who will be making her debut in the industry with this movie. She will be essaying the role of Anjali in the film. The characterisation of Mohanlal as Dr Sunny once again is another highlight. Veteran actor Madhu will be seen in a Priyadarshan movie for the first time. He will be playing the role of Babychayen in the movie. Innocent, Ganesh and Nazar are also seen playing pivotal roles in this movie.

Nishan plays the role of Anoop, husband to Anjali. Siddique and Harishree Ashokan are also seen in a Priyadarshan movie for the first time. Other cast include Swapna Menon, Mahesh, VBK Menon, Seema, Maya Vishwanath, Ambika Mohan, Krishnaprasad, Vivek Gopan, Soniya and Mani Mayampallil.

Abhilash Nair has done the scripting of the movie. Vidyasagar has composed the music for the lyrics penned by ONV Kurup. Seven Arts Release brings this movie on theaters. The movie is getting released on November 14.
