Mohanlal's Lucifer is a festival release

Half year has passed but it is sad to notice that our superstar Mohanlal did not deliver a single blockbuster in his list. But according to sources, Mohanlal will be playing the main lead in the Rajesh Pillai directed flick Lucifer.

The movie has its script written by Muraly Gopi and is produced by Anthony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvaad Cinemas. The director, who himself is a Mohanlal fan, will be taking special interest to make this flick a superhit. Rajesh's last film Traffic was a blockbuster and now the director is busy with its Hindi remake. He is also busy with the pre production works of two other films.

The movie also cast Kunchacko Boban. The female lead for the film is not yet confirmed. Mohanlal's last flick Ladies And Gentlemen did not do any good to him and went average. All his other releases till June including Red Wine and Lokpal.

The director dedicates this movie as a tribute to his favourite actor. The discussions on the film are still on and the final result will be made after Rajesh's completion of work in Hindi.
