Mohanlal Plays An Orphan In Drishyam!

Drishyam is the most hyped movie of the year 2013 which is yet to be released. Owing to its cast and crew, the movie has already made it to the headlines. Mohanlal essays the role of an uneducated farmer named Georgekutty in this movie, who is an orphan.

Georgekutty is a hardworking man, who struggled in his life to become a successful person and dreamt of a family with his wife and children. He faced many hardships and became a good farmer indeed. Though an orphan, he was helped by many during his childhood, which made him earn five acres of land through hard work.

Later, Georgekutty married Rani. They led a very happy life and were blessed with two daughters - Anju and Anu. Georgekutty aimed at providing a blessed and settled life for his children, who also wanted them to get well-educated. Georgekutty studied only till his fourth standard and his wife Rani was a tenth fail.

Now, life has changed and Georgekutty is a small landlord in his village, who is been respected by the villagers. People adore him for his hard work and simplicity. This is the structure of the Mohanlal starred movie Drishyam, which is all set to get released on December 19.

Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the trailer of the movie has already been out and is a hit. When Mohanlal is seen as Georgekutty, Rani is essayed by Meena. Anju and Anu are played by Ansiba and Baby Esther. Snehaveedu was the last movie, where the actor was seen playing a farmer.

At one point of time, Georgekutty and his family lands in a trouble. The man feels that all his dreams have got devastated. The whole family tries to come out of this problem. Will they succeed in this? This forms the rest of the story.

Director Jeethu assures some really interesting moments in the movie, which is sure to win the hearts of many. The rest of the cast include Siddique, Asha Sarath, Kunjan, Kalabhavan Shajon, Shoba Mohan, Koottikkal Jayachandran, Nisha Sarang, Bineesh Jose and Sibi Kuruvila. The movie is produced by Anthony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirwaad Cinemas.
