Mohanlal And Ranjini Reunite After 23 Years!

Remember Vishnu and Kalyani? The couple stole our hearts with the movie Chithram. There are many movies to remember the duo. Yes, its none other than Mohanlal and Ranjini. The latest news is that both these actors are all set to reunite again after 23 years!

Ranjini will once again share the onscreen along with Mohanlal with the movie Koothara. The movie had already made it to the headlines owing to its strange title. The movie is directed by Sreenath Rajendran.

Koothara will have Mohanlal essaying the role of a boat driver, who tries to escape a group of people who gets stucked in aan island. Ranjini, who was away from films for a very long time, is making a comeback with this movie. Ranjini said that she liked the movie and her role, which made her sign this film.

Mohanlal and Ranjini were last seen together in the movie Mukham, which was released in 1990. Asif Ali, Sunny Wayne and Vineeth Sreenivasan are also seen playing lead roles in this movie. Koothara is written by Vini Vishwa Lal. Manu is also seen playing a pivotal role in this film. Shaul Hammeed Marikkar is producing Koothara under the banner of Marikkar Productions Reloaded. Gopi Sunder has composed the sound track and background score for Koothara. One of the major locations of the film will be Lakshwadeep.
