Mohanlal To Play A Smuggler In G For Gold!

The much talked about movie G For Gold, which will have Mohanlal playing the lead role and directed by Ranjith, is said to have Mohanlal playing the role of a smuggler. The script work of the movie has got completed recently.

The movie was earlier rumoured to be titled as Man Friday and was in the news for many reasons. First of all, the film was said to be the comeback movie of Manju Warrier. But, once Ranjith was done with his script, he said that the storyline is not having sufficient space for the female lead and avoided Manju from the film.

Later, it again got confirmed that Prithviraj will also not be a part of the film. Now, if reports are to be believed, news claim that the movie G For Gold is a story of two persons - one who is an athlete and always aims of winning gold at each event and the other one who is a gold smuggler.

Reports claim that Kunchacko Boban will be playing the athlete in the film. But, neither the director nor the cast have commented on this statements till now. Meanwhile, Manju Warrier has begun the shooting of her movie How Old Are You?

Mohanlal is currently basking the success of his last release Drishyam, where he played the role of an uneducated farmer, who is an orphan and loves his family the most. It is after a very long gap that Mohanlal is seen as a smuggler once again in movies.
