Mollywood's October Releases

The month of October will have many Mollywood releases. Many movies that were postponed in September are all set for an October release. A tug of war between the movies is all set to occur as they are very much strong with their respective story, cast and crew.

The month will kick start with the releases of four movies on October 4. Cold Storage, Camel Safari, Kaanchi and Red Rain will be getting released on October 4. Cold Storage and Camel Safari are having new faces as their lead cast. Kaanchi will have Indrajith playing the lead role. Red Rain is another movie with Narain playing the lead role.

Cold Storage tells the story of four friends, they has various ambition regarding their future. The four friends meet at Chennai at some point of time and the resulting events plot the story of Cold Storage.

Camel Safari is a love story set in the backdrop of the desert in Rajasthan. The movie also highlights the famous Pushkar Mela with a special narration.

Kaanchi tells the story of a comman man who runs a grocery shop. The complicated incidents that happen in his life form the plot of the story.

Red Rain revolves around a young researcher trying to narrow down the reason for the red rain with the help of his European friends. The movie is directed by debutant Rahul Sadasivan, who is a student of the London film industry.

October 11 will witness three movie releases - Idukki Gold, Pattam Pole and Salaam Kashmir. Idukki Gold is directed by Ashiq Abu. Lal, Pratap Pothen, Raveendran, Babu Antony and Maniyanpilla Raju play the lead roles and the movie is based on Santhosh Echikkanam's short story of the same name.

Pattam Pole marks the debut of Malavika Mohan in the industry. Dulquar Salman plays the lead in this movie directed by cinematographer Azhagappan.

Salaam Kashmir marks the comeback of Suresh Gopi in films. Jayaram and Mia George are also seen in the film.

Cold Storage

Cold Storage is a romantic thriller. The movie has Jafeena, Priyaraj and Muhammed Noufal playing the lead roles. All three characters are making their debut with this movie.

Camel Safari

The movie features Arun Shankar and Pankaja Menon in the lead roles. Sekhar Menon, Tini Tom, Sabitha Jayaraj, Binu Adimaly, Neha Ramesh, Hashim Hussain, Vishnu Mohan and Anjali Ajayan are seen in the supporting roles.

Kaanchi

Kaanchi narrates an ordinary story which is very true to real life. Indrajith and Murali Gopy play the main roles. Archana Gupta is the heroine.

Red Rain

Narain, Tini Tom, Devan, Mohan Sharma and Shari are seen playing the lead roles in this movie. Tini Tom is seen playing the role of a reporter in this film. This is the first scientific fiction movie in Malayalam.

Idukki Gold

Idukki Gold is the story of five friends and an important person in their life. The film marks the return of Raveendran, who was an integral part of many successful Tamil and Malayalam films of 80s.

Pattam Pole

Archana Kavi, Manasi, Kollywood actor Ilavarasu, Tamil actress Seetha, Nandu and young dancer turned actor and anchor Shraddha Gokul are also part of the cast. Anoop Menon is seen in a cameo role.

Salaam Kashmir

Salaam Kashmir is directed by Joshiy. Lalu Alex, Krishna Kumar, Vijayaraghavan and Ponnamma Babu are seen in supporting roles. Earlier, the movie was titled Kashmir.
