Nishan Is Keerthi's Fiance In Geetanjali!

Geetanjali, directed by Priyadarshan, is progressing in Thiruvananthapuram. It is reported that Mohanlal has recently joined the sets of the movie. Nishan, who is the new entry in the film, will be playing the fiance of Keerthi Menaka. This role will be similar to the one done by Suresh Gopi in Manichitrathazhu. Mamta Mohandas is also seen in Geetanjali.

Nishan describes his role as an unexpected luck. He says that he was so excited when he got the call of the director for the film. He adds that he is even more excited to be a part of the psychological thriller Geetanjali. He considers this as a big opportunity to play a prominent role alongside Mohanlal.

The movie has been creating buzz for various reasons ever since the director announced it. Mohanlal will be seen again as Dr Sunny, which he had essayed earlier in Manichitrathazhu. It was rumoured that Shobana would also be seen in the film as Ganga. But her name is not yet mentioned in the cast. Innocent, Madhu, Siddique and Ganesh are seen in supporting roles.

Besides Kerala, Geetanjali will be shot in Dubai and New Delhi. Kaloor Dennis has done the scripting for the film.
