Nithya Menon In Air India's Cockpit!

Nithya Menon seems to be in trouble as she was caught travelling in the cockpit area of Air India's Hyderabad-Bangalore flight. She was given the seat of the observer inside the cockpit.

Cockpit or flight deck is the area, which is usually near the front of the aircraft, from where a pilot controls the flight. It contains flight instruments on an instrument panel and the controls that enable the pilot to fly the aircraft. In most airliners, a door separates the cockpit from the passenger compartment.

Nithya Menon was made to sit in this cockpit area by two pilots. It was only after a complaint filed by one of the passengers, that the authorities came to know about it. No action is reported against the actress, but the pilots got suspended.

Nithya Menon appeared on screen for the first time as a child artist when she was ten, in an Indian English film, The Monkey Who Knew Too Much. The 2008 off-beat film Aakasha Gopuram, directed by National Film Award-winning director KP Kumaran, marked her debut in a leading role, in which she was paired with Mohanlal. Her last release was Usthad Hotel opposite Dulquar Salman.
