Shweta
Menon,
who
was
in
news
recently
for
charging
a
case
of
molestation
against
the
Congress
MP
N
Peethambara
Kurup,
said
that
she
was
not
paid
by
the
organisers
for
the
Presidents
Trophy
Boat
Race,
held
at
Quilon.
The
alleged
MP
tried
to
molest
the
actress,
and
an
arrest
warrant
was
charged
against
him,
after
which
Shweta
withdrew
the
case.
Shweta
attended
the
function
as
the
chief
guest
and
was
specially
invited
by
the
Collector.
She
came
from
Mumbai
to
attend
the
function.
But,
the
actress
faced
physical
assault,
which
she
later
complained
to
the
Collector
as
well
as
the
KPCC
President.
To
her
surprise,
the
Collector
denied
that
she
complained
to
him.
Later
Shweta
and
her
husband
announced
that
they
have
decided
to
file
a
complaint
to
the
CM
and
that
evening
she
sent
a
mail
to
the
media
saying
that
she
has
withdrawn
the
complaint
as
the
MP
had
said
sorry
for
his
misbehaviour.
Now,
the
original
compliant
made
by
the
actress
has
come
out
which
states
that
the
MP
had
tried
to
molest
her
by
touching
her
hip.
Moreover,
she
added
that
the
MP
tried
to
curb
her
and
was
holding
her
hand
all
the
time.
She
asked
him
to
leave
her
and
make
a
move,
but
the
MP
seemed
botherless.
Lastly,
she
also
added
that
the
organisers
did
not
pay
her
for
attending
the
function.
