Philips And The Monkey Pen Gets Tamil, Telugu Remakes!

The much hyped movie Philips And The Monkey Pen, which got released yesterday (November 7), is getting very good response all over. The movie has been successful in impressing even the industry people that it is getting remakes both in Tamil and Telugu.

Jayasurya, Remya Nambeesan and Master Sanoop played the lead roles in Philips And The Monkey Pen. Sanoop, brother of actress Sanusha, made his debut with his movie. The movie revolves around the story about a mischievous boy Ryan Philip, who hates Maths, Maths teacher and the most intelligent student in his class.

Ryan loves a girl in his class, but it does not work as his enemy in the class spoils it. Luckily, Ryan happens to get a monkey pen after visiting his grandfather. It was a magic pen. The movie deals with the happenings in Ryan's life after the entry of the pen.

Now, the Telugu version will have Nani, the hero in Eega. The cast of the Tamil version is not yet decided. Master Sanoop's presence in the remakes is also yet to be confirmed. The Tamil version of the movie will be produced by CV Kumaran, the producer of Pizza, under the banner of Thirukumaran Entertainment.
