Philips And The Monkey Pen Gets U Certification

The month of November will kick start with the release of the Malayalam movie Philips And The Monkey Pen. Starring Jayasurya and Remya Nambeesan in the lead, the movie will also mark the debut of Master Sanoop, who is the brother of actress Sanusha. The movie which is getting released on November 7 has got its certification from the Censor Board.

Philips And The Monkey Pen has got U certification from the Censor Board. The movie is said to be a fantasy one. Joy Mathew is also seen playing a pivotal role in the movie. The film is all about Roy Philip and his son Regen Philip. They get a very rare pen, which is called the Monkey Pen. The pen was gifted to Regen by his grandfather Richard Philip. The movie has a plot which describes the emotional attachment of the boy towards the pen.

Jayasurya plays the role of Roy Philip and Sanoop is seen as Regan Philip. Joy Mathew essays the role of Richard Philip. Remya Nambeesan plays the role of wife to Jayasurya, who is a Muslim. Director Lijo Jose Pellissery is also seen in a pivotal role in the film.

Philips And The Monkey Pen is produced by Sandra Thomas under the banner of Friday Film Company. The movie has its songs penned by Anu Elizabeth Jose and the music has been composed by Rahul Subramaniam.
