The Malayalam film industry has witnessed many new faces coming in. When we take a look at the Malayalam industry, we can see many fresh faces who have proved their talent in a very short period. All the recent releases and the yet to be released movies have at least one new cast.
Mollywood had always warmly greeted all other language heroines. Starting from Sridevi (Bollywood) to Subhiksha (Kollywood), till date, all have been given equal importance in their films. This might be one of the major reasons for actresses from other industries or languages to fly to Mollywood.
Actresses like Nyla Usha and Malavika Mohan are Keralites, but Surja Bala Hajim (Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi) is a Manipuri actress, Vedhika (Sringara Velan), Subhiksha (Olipporu) and Sanam Shetty (Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus), are popular Kollywood actresses, and have been successful in making their way in Mollywood.
All these actresses have proved that though they are from other industries, they love to be a part of the Mollywood. It's all because of the comfort zone these actress enjoy while working in the industry. We can expect more such fresh faces in future too!

Nyla Usha
The actress is an RJ by profession. Nyla Usha made her debut performance in Kunjananthante Kada and is getting very good response for her first performance.

Surja Bala Hijam
The Manipuri actress made her debut with Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi opposite Dulquar Salman. She has got very good response for her performance in the film.
Amber
The Bangalore-based actress is making her debut in Mollywood with Love Story. The Kashmir-born actress will essay the role of a speech and hearing impaired girl in the movie alongside Maqbool Salmaan.
Subhiksha
Subhiksha played opposite Fahad Fazil in the movie Olipporu. The movie did not turn out well, but the actress was successful to impress the audience with her performance.
Sanam Shetty
She will be seen opposite Mammootty in the upcoming movie Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus, which is set for an Onam release. She plays a theater artist in the film.
