Pics: Mollywood Stars At SIIMA 2013
South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA), is one of the biggest events as far as the South industry is concerned. This year SIIMA is happening at Sharjah, UAE on the 12th and 13th of September. The first day of the event occurred yesterday and many stars from all the South industry were present at the event.
Initially, SIIMA for this year was planned for June 20 and 21, but later got postponed to September due to 100 years of Indian cinema jubilee festivities. The ceremony was hosted by Arya, Shriya Saran, Rana Daggubati and Sonu Sood at the Expo Centre Sharjah, while the Generation Next Awards Night, which happened a day before was hosted by Parvathy Omanakuttan and Ash Chandler.
Many Mollywood stars were awarded at SIIMA. Mollywood stars like Amala Paul, Parvathy Omanakuttan, Asin, Karthika Nair, Narain, Amal Ajmeer, Kunchacko Boban, Kavya Madhavan, Director Ranjith, Riyaz Khan and Vijay Yesudas attended the first day event at SIIMA. Some of Mollywood stars even performed at SIIMA.
The nominees for SIIMA were nominated by a team of veteran professionals. The final winners were decided by a public voting system. Five new Award categories are added for the second SIIMA Awards ceremony - Best Debutant Producer, Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Best Actress in a Supporting Role, Best Fight Choreographer and Best Dance Choreographer.

Kavya Madhavan
Kavya Madhavan was one of the most popular actress from Mollywood, who attended the second SIIMA. She won an award at the event.

She was the host for the previous day award night. Parvathy too performed at the SIIMA.
Priyamani
Priyamani, who is currently loaded with Malayalam films, is another actress who was seen at the SIIMA. She also performed at the SIIMA.
Lakshmi Rai
Lakshmi Rai was also present at the SIIMA. She looked stunning at the function.
Ajmal Ameer
Ajmal Amee made his presence at the SIIMA. He was awarded at the function.
Shriya Saran
Shriya, who made her debut in Mollywood with the movie Pokkiri Raja, was also present at the event. She wore a saree and looked stunning.
Nithya Menon
Nithya Menon too attended the SIIMA event. She did not perform at the event.
Vijay Yesudas
Vijay too attended the function along with his wife. He too performed at the SIIMA.
