It
has
been
earlier
reported
that
the
Malayalam
movie
Shutter
will
be
getting
a
Hindi
remake.
The
movie,
which
was
directed
by
Joy
Mathew,
will
get
its
remake
by
the
Neram
movie
director
Alphonse
Puthren.
The
director
has
said
that
Prithviraj
might
be
a
part
of
the
remake
of
Shutter.
The
cast
and
crew
of
the
film
is
not
yet
confirmed.
"The
casting
will
be
finalised
by
the
second
week
of
October.
The
scripting
of
the
Hindi
adaptation
is
over,
and
we
will
start
working
on
the
film
as
soon
as
the
casting
is
done," he
says.
Alphonse
says
that
he
wanted
to
do
the
Shutter
remake
because
he
wanted
a
subject
which
anyone
in
India
could
relate
to.
"I
wanted
to
upgrade
myself
as
a
director,
and
do
something
with
more
reach.
So
I
was
on
the
lookout
for
something
to
do
in
Hindi,
and
that's
when
I
came
across
Shutter,"
he
says.
Alphonse
says
that
it
was
his
sole
decision
to
remake
Shutter
in
Hindi.
He
has
taken
intense
care
with
the
script
of
the
remake
so
that
it
would
please
his
Hindi
audience.
Adding
on,
he
also
says
that
all
those
who
have
seen
the
Malayalam
version
of
the
film
is
sure
to
like
the
Hindi
remake
too.
