Rasputin - An Overlook

Rasputin is an upcoming film written and directed by Jinu G Daniel and produced by EP Varghese, under the banner of Blue Moon Pictures. Starring Vinay Forrt, Sreenath Bhasi, Aju Vargheese, Joy Mathew, Nandhu, Sunil Sugadha, Vandhana Menon, Archana Gupta, Srinda Asab and Shritha Sivadas, Rasputin is a first of its kind, coming of age film in Malayalam.

Susheelan aka Sushee is a 29 year old nice but a shy man, with low self esteem. Radhenathan aka Rads is Susheelans cousin, colleague and his mentor. Rad is an antithesis to Sushee and has multiple affairs and one night stands as a part of his life.

On Rad's advice, a depressed Susheelan gets in touch with Smitha aka Dr Smita, a high class escort. He soon develops a special bond with her, bringing a bit of positive streak in his life. One day Susheelan leaves to another city to meet Dr Smita, not knowing that the ensuing events are going to change his and Rad's life forever.

The lyrics of the songs are penned by Rafeeq Ahmed and Arun Narayanan. Robi Abraham has composed the music for Rasputin. Hari Nair is the cinematographer. Shaju Maniyadath is the executive producer of the film. Sriram Raja has done the editing.
