Renjith's 'Mathukutty' Completes Shooting

Director Renjith Balakrishnan's much awaited movie Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty has completed its shooting. The releasing date is yet to be announced. Mammootty is playing the lead role in Mathukutty. Mohanlal and Dileep will be seen in cameo roles. Alisha and Muthumani are playing the female leads in the film. Meera Nandan is also playing a prominent character in the film.

Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty tells the story about an NRI, who marries a nurse and moves on to Germany. But he is sent back to Kottaym by the German Malayalees there with a special task, which holds the core element of the film. Mammootty and Mohanlal once again share the screen together after their AMMA venture movie Twenty Twenty along with Dileep.

Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty is scripted by the director himself. Renjith and Mammootty last teamed up for Pranchiyettan And The Saint, which created waves in the industry. So the same is expected to happen for their Mathukutty also.

Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty is produced by Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan and Shaji Natesan under the banner of August Cinemas. The other cast in the film includes Nedumudi Venu, Balachandra Menon, Siddique, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Prem Prakash, Suresh Krishna, Krishna Prabha etc.
